Nick Wright hosts First Things First, Fox Sports 1’s morning show airing weekdays from 6:30 to 9:30 AM ET. Wright has hosted First Things First since it hit the air in 2017. He also hosts What’s Wright with Nick Wright with his son Damonza, along with occasional appearances by his wife Danielle, and his two daughters, Diorra and Deanna.
Wright has appeared as regular contributor to a number of FS1’s daily studio shows, often guest hosting The Herd with Colin Cowherd. Wright continues to join Colin Cowherd every Wednesday to talk about the latest news from the sports world.
Prior to joining the FOX Sports network, Wright was a radio host in Syracuse, Kansas City and Houston. A Syracuse graduate, Wright began his sports broadcasting career as production assistant and weekend host for the KCSP 610 AM radio station, based in his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri.

From 2018 to 2020, Wright also hosted What’s Wright with Nick Wright on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio weekdays from 6:00 to 8:00 PM ET. Prior to the launch of FIRST THINGS FIRST, Wright was a regular contributor to a number of FS1’s daily studio shows, often guest hosting THE HERD WITH COLIN COWHERD. Wright continues to join Colin Cowherd every Wednesday to talk about the latest news from the sports world. Prior to joining the network, Wright was a radio host in Syracuse, Kansas City and Houston. He garnered national attention for his eagerness to discuss social issues, including matters of race, both within and outside the context of sports. A broadcast journalism major, Wright graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2007. He is married to Danielle Wright, also his television stylist, and they have three children, Damonzá, Diorra and Deanna. They reside in Harlem.
